Attention Elm Ridge residents:

Please be advised due to all the recent rain, most trash & waste companies are dealing with delays in and out of the landfills.  These landfills do not have paved roads in and out of their facilities, they are dirt.  Trucks for various companies have needed to be towed out due to the mud.  This has caused delays.  Some landfills have closed on some heavy rain days.  

These circumstances affect our contractor, Waste Connections as well.  Waste Connections has already experienced delays this week and expect some service interruptions going forward this week.  

We ask for your patience as we hopefully move past this weather pattern soon.  If your trash or recycling bins are not emptied over the next few days, please leave them out, it may take more than the normal 3 days to service our 3 communities.
